Fox — Grow a Garden 2
The Fox is a Mythic-rarity pet added to Grow a Garden 2 on August 1, 2026 in the Fall Harvest update — the only Fall Harvest pet that takes from other players' gardens rather than protecting your own. It spawns on the Fall Harvest map at 0.1% and costs 10,000,000 Leaves, and it can also hatch from any of the four Fall eggs at a 16% weight. Its passive: sneaks out at night to steal a seed from other players and brings it back to you.
How to get Fox
Two routes, and they are separate systems with very different odds. Map spawn: the Fox has a 0.1% chance to spawn anywhere on the Fall Harvest map, and once one has spawned you buy it for 10,000,000 Leaves. Eggs: it also appears in all four Fall eggs from Cornucopia Quests at a 16% weight — the Fall Common Egg gives the normal version, the Fall Big Egg the Big version, the Fall Mega Egg the Mega version and the Fall Rainbow Egg the Rainbow version. A Wolf's Full Moon howl can also spawn one, at 1.4% of that pack. Leaves are the Fall Harvest event currency, introduced with this update — they are not Sheckles, and prices quoted in Sheckles anywhere refer to the base game, not to Fall Harvest content.

| Ability detail | At night, every 5–10 seconds, an 85% chance to spot a nearby seed and set off to steal it. It gives up if it cannot reach the seed within 20 seconds; once there it takes 3 seconds to steal, then delivers it back. After a successful steal it waits 10 seconds before checking again (3 seconds if it did not attempt one). A player who was just robbed cannot be targeted again for 75 seconds. Players inside their own garden, or carrying no seed, cannot be targeted at all. Big Foxes steal 2 seeds at 1.5x speed, Mega Foxes steal 3 at 2x speed, with a further 1.25x if the Fox is Rainbow. |

Tips
- Do not compare the 0.1% map-spawn figure with the 16% egg weight — they are two different systems. The map number is the chance a wild one appears at all; the egg number is its share of one hatch. Cross-mechanic percentages are not interchangeable.
- 10,000,000 Leaves is the buy price once a wild one has spawned — the spawn itself is free to wait for. If you are Leaf-poor, farming spawns costs time instead of currency.
- The wiki's egg tables list raw weights, not normalised probabilities — the eight entries add up to 118.05%, not 100%. Read the order as reliable and the exact percentage as indicative only.
